{Update} 3Little Angels Goes To RSCM

Remember my previous post about 3LittleAngels movement?? Well... I got some update news about it.

1st..
So far we already gathered around ... 

from selling E-book (about how to make Wire Jewelery created by one of 3littleangels member), and from some donors (participants) who already transferred some money to our bank account.

More than twenty six million Rupiah seemed a lot, right? But remember friends, there are around 85 kids in RSCM who really needs help on their medication. Most of them are having severe illness such as cancer. So we need more and more money to help them with their medication.

X'mas is about gifting to others right? Please correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm not celebrating it. So we have plan to give a goodie bag to each one of the kid. To bad we can't give cookies or candy because their doctor don't allow us to. Then we change it with some of their daily needs such as sock, towel and soap. FYI those goodie bag is our personal project. That means, we (member of 3littleangels) prepared it without using money from donation. Not even a penny. All comes from our own piggy bank ^_~

Last but not least, I got news (from our mailing list) that we also gonna visit psychiatry wards. Hmm... hope we can share little bit of happiness to them too.

Christmas Magic with Kids @ Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital

3littleangels will celebrate Christmas with Kids @ Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. 

The plan is to bring joy and the warmth of X’Mas to all kids who’s sick and have to stay @ hospital for quite sometimes. Well.. not only for the kid itself, but also for their family who already spend so much time and energy for them.

And yes.. I’m moslem, but still… I wanna help. Why?? because this 3littleangels movement is not based on religion. Its just a place of bunch of people who willing to do something instead of talking.

Sneak Peek from Indonesian Crochet & Knit Festival 2011 (FRI)

Hi y'all!!
Hows ur weekend?
Mine was GREAT although got headache for few days. But the rest was so AWESOME!!!

There was Crocheting & Knitting Festival that held  in Bank Mandiri Museum (Kota) from 16 to 17 Juli 2011. Our Dinamic CroKnit group opened 1 stand there. Selling books and our craft project.

there's no question like this 'why do you want to leave your current job' during today's interview @ SPENCER.

I really don't like it. Why? Gee.. I don't know.. Maybe cause -in my own opinion- there's no right or wrong answer for this.

I'm sure that every company had their own rules or policy and nature. So what's look good for this company may look the opposite way for other company, right? So what I mean is that its depend on how we see it. And you have to try other's shoes to understand how they feel.

Anyway, it's my own opinion. You may correct me if I'm wrong ;)

Craft for Humanity: A Call for Crafter

Indonesia is fighting two disaster at a time; Tsunami at Mentawai (West Sumatra) and Eruption of Mount Merapi. 

The latest news about those two disasters is that 32 people died because of Mount Merapi Eruption while 311 people lost their life on Tsunami Mentawai. Those number still climbing due some difficulties to reach all area of those two disasters. 

One of Indonesian blogger, who’s also a crafter and the founder of Tobucil & Klabs, Tarlen, got this idea of Crafting for Humanity.

It’s an open invitation to all Indonesian crafter and all who care to help our brothers and sisters; the victim of those two disaster. The plan is to craft simple thing like shawl, amigurumi, notebook, drawing book, or whatever you want and donate them to those victim. 

Why? Because besides of those material lost, they also had traumatic moment. Especially children who’s suppose to be at school. Maybe with this simple thing, we can help those kids to have some fun at the shelter. To help them ease the pain and forget about the pain of losing parents, friends, relatives or even toys.

My 1st shift

Hi guys!!
Hows ur weekend?? Mine was so great.

I spent it on DC's stand @ Golden Trully Dept. Store. FYI during the weekday, we hired someone to look after it while on weekend we handle it for our-self. The funny thing is.. I totally forgot about that off day for our sales promotion gal. So when I arrived and the stand still closed, I just thought that Sari (our gal) were late. I realized that she's off when I fill my shift paper :D

So on Saturday n Sunday I have to prepare our stand alone. Thanks GOD that wasn't a hard thing to do. What's hard was when I already opened, I need to go to bathroom. Can you imagine that??! Luckily our stand was located near to dept. store's cashier,so I can ask for her help to keep on eye on our stand for a while. Pfiuhhh!!

Learning from that lesson, on the next day (sunday) I go to bathroom first, then go to buy some drink and snack, then finally opened our stand. Smart na?!?

Last Day of Work

Finally!!

Today is the last day of work. Starting tomorrow, up to Sept 14, I (well not only me, but almost every moslem in Indonesia) will be off work for Eid.

So.. allow me to say..

Long time no see ^_^

Today I just wanna share about one of my activity related to my crocheting hobby. Well.. here's the story...!!

From 23dr of Juni up to 11 July 2010, there's an event called Festival Rajut Indonesia (FRI). It take place @ Ciputra Mall aka. Citraland. So, as crochet n knit lover, me and my friends from Dinamic Crochet aka DC try to participate in that event. Well actually Mba Thata who encourage us to participate. Finally, DC open one stand where we sell our products. And what can I say.. our stand is so colorful since it's consist of so many people with various character.
