Work Again

Hi!

Its my 2nd day of work after a week of for Lebaran (Ied Day). And my off days were ok. Just stayed at home. Eating, sleeping, watching tv, reading, crafting. Well.. things like that. Bit boring na?! But that wasn’t boring at all for me.

I mean.. I manage to finished 200 pcs of wedding souvenirs for my BFF’s sister. I also finished 1 granny jacket (again) for my friend’s newborn baby including ear-flap hat. I also spare a day to have massage (for my twisted ankle) and visited my BFF and had great time with her.

So the bottom line is that my holiday wasn’t boring at all. At least for me. And now.. back to work.. back to part of reality that bites.

Have a GREAT Day friends ^__^

Last Day @ Work

Finally!!!
Last day @ Work!!
Coz from tomorrow until 4th of September, our office is closed due to Lebaran (EID) day. So.. bye-bye paper work, report and binder. Welcome freedom. Although my activities during holiday is finishing my baby set order (After visiting family and friends off course). Not much of fun right?!

But still.. I'm glad I can have this holiday. Even sometimes I envy to my friends who's Mudik every Lebaran. Mudik is tradition to go to our home town and gathered with family. Especially for those who work in different city. Although from what I heard, mudik is quite challenging. Imagine the massive people who had the same plan with you. Going home. What will happen next difficulty in finding ticket (whether plane, ship or even bus), then buying gift, packing, etc. And when to travel with car or bus, imagine that long trip since there will be travel jam every where. But all of that tiring trip are worth a lot since you'll meet your family and ask for apologize from them (especially your parents).

That's the essence of mudik on Lebaran day right?!

To be with your family, closing old chapter of your book of life and start a new one. With new positive heart and positive mind.

EID MUBARAK .. my dearest friend
May Allah forgive all of our mistakes
May you gathered with your family & friends
May we meet again on next Lebaran

A Post Card

Last week I got a post card from a sister whom I know through blog.
Quite a surprise even though she said that she'll send me Eid Greeting through a post card. I mean, i thought she might forgot, but she didn't.

Receiving this post card brings old memory back. You know.. when there was no cell phone or internet. When you use airmail or post card to communicate with relatives and friends who lived far away from you. You know what.. sometimes I missed those moments. Time where I'm waiting impatiently for the postman. Wondering whether he'll bring mails for me (from my pen-pal ) or  not. I missed moments when I'm confused which paper should i picked for this friend, or which color will suit for other friend.

I don't hate technology, I really don't. It's just sometimes I feel that there's no personal touch when I used text message or mail. I mean.. when I wrote to someone, I tend to paid attention to every details from picking the paper to the color of my pen. And in every pressure that i made through my pen when i wrote, there's emotion there. Emotion or feelings or whatever you named it.

I really do missed those moments.

And receiving this post card, brings those sweet memory back.

Thanks a lot Sis ^_^

Eid Mubarak

After 30 day of practicing self-control and try to cleanse our body, mind and soul through fasting, finally within a few hours from now, I  (well.. not only me, but also my brothers and sisters in Islam) can celebrate Eid-al Fitr.  Its a remark that Ramadhan is over.

I don't know about other country.. but here in Indonesia, after doing Eid-al Fitr pray.. we visit our neighbors, family and friend. Not just a visit, its more like asking for forgiveness for all misunderstanding, all bad thing we might have done before.

We also got 'mudik' tradition. Mudik means you go back to your home town to see your parents, or your eldest and ask for their forgiveness. I never done 'mudik' since I still lived with my parents, and my grandparents are already passed away.

Anyway....

Happy Eid Mubarak to all my brothers and sister in Islam.
May Allah bless us all.. and give us opportunity to meet again with next Ramadan.
